National TVET Day 2025: Thousands of Job Opportunities Await in Melaka Melaka, Malaysia – The 2025 National TVET Day celebration kicked off on Wednesday, June 11th, at the Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC). This three-day event, organized by various Malaysian ministries, aims to showcase the country's Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector and connect graduates and students with potential employers. The event features four segments: TVET exhibitions, conventions, career carnivals, and skill competitions. "The atmosphere is lively here at MITC," reported Nor Shafinaz Sari, a journalist on the scene. "Over 5,000 job opportunities are being offered throughout the event, spanning nine key sectors." She further explained that the event is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of Malaysia's TVET ecosystem. The celebration includes seminars, workshops, and career forums. Twelve ministries are involved, including the Ministry of Higher Education, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Human Resources. The event is expected to attract a significant number of participants and visitors. The opening ceremony will be officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Thursday, June 12th. This event offers a significant opportunity for graduates and students to explore career options and benefit from government initiatives.
