Melaka Hosts National TVET Day 2025, Showcasing Future Career Opportunities for Youth Melaka, Malaysia – The "Hari TVET Negara 2025" event, held from June 11th to 13th at the Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC), provided a platform to showcase the diverse opportunities available in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) for young Malaysians. The event, which included exhibits from various sectors including automotive, aviation, and robotics, aimed to connect students with potential employers and highlight the importance of TVET in the nation's future. "This event is crucial for exposing potential students to the practical side of TVET," said Mohd Rafi Muhamad, a participant from CIDB Tech. "It allows them to see firsthand the technologies and skills they can learn and how they apply to real-world jobs." The event also featured sessions with multinational corporations and government agencies, providing students with insights into potential career paths and collaboration opportunities. Datuk Khaidir Abu Zahar, the Chairperson of the Melaka TVET Council, emphasized the council's collaboration with the national TVET council to provide comprehensive training and career support. The event concluded with the official opening ceremony by the Prime Minister, further underscoring the government's commitment to investing in TVET. The enthusiasm of students like Abdul Hanan Abdul Rahman was palpable. "TVET offers hands-on experience that makes learning more engaging and relevant," he shared.
