Kelantan, Malaysia: Community Projects Thrive with Government Support Kampung Paloh and Tasik Berangan in Kelantan, Malaysia, are experiencing economic growth thanks to two community-based initiatives. The first project, focused on corn and vegetable cultivation, has seen a significant rise in agricultural output, improving the livelihoods of local farmers. Wisam Mat Yusof, head of Kampung Paloh's community management council, stated, "With the grant, we were able to purchase three small Kubota tractors and one large one, drastically improving efficiency." A second project, centered around stingless bee farming, is also thriving. Abdul Aziz Mahmood, chairman of the Tasik Berangan Community Association, highlighted the project's success: "Starting small with 65 bee colonies, we're now producing significant amounts of honey." Both projects received substantial grants from the Prime Minister's Department, showcasing the positive impact of government investment in community-driven initiatives.
