Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Independent preacher Rahmat Ikhsan, widely known as PU Rahmat, has reportedly sent a poignant message from his detention by Israeli forces. Ikhsan was participating in the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) humanitarian mission when he was apprehended. In his message, conveyed to Imam Muda Asyraf, PU Rahmat urged his friends to "comfort [his] mother and give her good news, not news of fear." He further emphasized, "Tell her this is a victory. Tell her nothing will happen." He also extended apologies and greetings to all, requesting them to "take care of [his] mother, take care of yourselves, and pray for him." The message concluded with a heartfelt sentiment: "If we don't meet, we will meet in paradise." Reports indicate that approximately 500 individuals were involved in the mission, and as of the latest information, no acts of violence have been reported.
