Four Big Ten Baseball Teams Advance to NCAA Tournament OMAHA, NE - May 29, 2025 - Four Big Ten Conference baseball teams have secured their spots in the 2025 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. Oregon, seeded 12th overall, will host a regional in Eugene, Oregon, facing Utah Valley, Cal Poly, and Arizona. "The Ducks have a strong history in this tournament, making their fifth straight trip and 12th overall appearance," said sports analyst Michela Chester in a recent video update. UCLA, the 15th seed, will host a regional in Los Angeles, playing against Fresno State, Arizona State, and UC Irvine. This marks UCLA's 26th NCAA tournament appearance, their first since 2022. Nebraska will travel to Chapel Hill, North Carolina, for their regional, and USC, a 3rd seed, will compete in Oregon State's regional against TCU. Regional action begins Friday, May 30th. The tournament culminates in Omaha, Nebraska, with the College World Series.
