Children's Art Celebrates Serbian Identity at Expo Playground 2027
Belgrade, Serbia - The Expo Playground recently hosted a vibrant workshop where children creatively expressed their understanding of national identity by drawing and painting Serbian flags. This initiative, part of the broader Expo 2027 preparations, aimed to connect younger generations with their national symbols through artistic endeavor. Project Director Danilo Jerinić articulated the core objective of the workshop. "Our goal is to bring the significance of the flag closer to children through artistic creation and encourage them to translate their ideas into action," Jerinić stated. He highlighted that the workshop transcended mere play, allowing children to demonstrate the profound meaning of their country and national symbols to them. The communal canvas, adorned with various colorful designs, reflected the themes of play and creativity championed by Expo 2027. The Expo Playground is envisioned as an inclusive space where diverse generations can participate in creative activities and cultural exchanges. This event underscored how the identity and symbols of a nation can resonate through the eyes of children, fostering joy, freedom, and imaginative engagement.
