Vietnam's Tech Tycoon Bets on AI Education for Six-Year-Olds
Hanoi, Vietnam – In a forward-thinking initiative, a school in Hanoi is integrating AI education into its curriculum for children as young as six. This program, spearheaded by Truong Gia Binh, chairman and co-founder of FPT, an Nvidia partner, aims to equip Vietnam's future generation with essential skills for the technological age. "They play four years, just playing, and then from fifth grade they start to develop AI by themselves," Binh explains, highlighting the school's unique approach. The program covers coding, interaction with AI assistants, and the basics of algorithms. The initiative is not just about profit, but about preparing Vietnam for a future driven by technology. "From the country's point of view, that's the most useful contribution FPT should do," Binh emphasizes, showcasing a commitment to national development. This innovative approach to early childhood education positions Vietnam as a leader in preparing its young population for the challenges and opportunities of the AI revolution.
