Bolivia's TSE Enables 1,180 Candidatures for 2025 General Elections Santa Cruz, Bolivia – June 6, 2025 – The Bolivian Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) announced today that 1,180 candidatures have been approved for the upcoming 2025 general elections. This decision follows the review of 3,290 candidatures submitted by various political organizations. Ten political forces are officially cleared to participate in the elections. President of the TSE, Óscar Hassenteufel, stated, “We have 3,290 candidates presented.” This represents approximately 35.87% of the total number of candidates initially presented. The TSE has ensured that the electoral process will continue without any presidential or vice-presidential candidates being disqualified.
