
Manhunt Continues for Two Extremely Dangerous Inmates After Louisiana Jailbreak
On May 27th, ten inmates escaped from Orleans Parish Prison in New Orleans, Louisiana. A major manhunt ensued, leading to the recapture of three fugitives. Louisiana State Police announced Monday that Jermaine Donald and Leo Tate were apprehended in Texas during a traffic stop just north of Houston. Donald, facing charges of second-degree murder and other crimes, was arrested alongside Tate, who had been in custody on burglary and firearms charges. Lenton Vanburen was apprehended in Baton Rouge after an anonymous tip led authorities to him sitting on a park bench. Authorities continue to search for Derrick Groves and Antoine Massey, described as "extremely dangerous". "We are utilizing all available resources to locate these individuals and bring them back into custody," said a spokesperson for the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office.
