Double Tragedy in Argentina: Road Rage Leads to Two Deaths
A tragic incident unfolded in Argentina on April 11, 2025, when Leonardo Daniel Camarena, 43, and his wife were driving on Avenida Castañares. At the intersection with Avenida Corea, two young men, crossing illegally, attacked Camarena's car. One threw a rock, shattering the car's window. Camarena, enraged, pursued the attackers. A fight ensued, during which Camarena was fatally stabbed. Alcira Encarnación, 46, a bystander waiting for a bus, was tragically killed when Camarena, in a desperate attempt to escape, lost control of his vehicle and mounted the curb. One of the attackers, Matías Nahuel Pérez, 27, was arrested. He has a history of arrests for theft and possession of a bladed weapon. According to Camarena's wife, "The scene was very confusing. I am still in shock."
