Mexicali Road Rage Ends in Tragedy: One Dead After Intentional Hit-and-Run

MEXICALI, MEXICO—A tragic traffic incident in Mexicali has claimed the life of one driver. The incident, which occurred on Monday afternoon at the intersection of Lázaro Cárdenas and Río Nuevo boulevards, began as a minor traffic dispute between two drivers. According to the video footage obtained by Canal 66, the argument escalated into a physical altercation. 'The discussion quickly turned violent,' reports Tere Mejia of Canal 66. The video shows the two men fighting before one driver gets back into his vehicle and runs over the other. The victim, identified as Edgar, 42, was taken to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Police are currently investigating the incident, and the driver of the vehicle that struck Edgar is yet to be identified.
