The butcher, who regularly posts practical advice, highlighted that many consumers incorrectly store sausages by leaving them fully wrapped in paper or plastic, which hinders proper air circulation. "Normally, in the butchery, we hand it over wrapped like this," he demonstrated, "and people take it home and put it straight into the fridge. However, this is a mistake." He advises unwrapping the sausage and allowing air to reach the casing for 24 hours on one side, then flipping it to air the other side. This method, he explains, significantly extends the product's freshness and maintains its flavor.
