Wisconsin School Bus Shelters Students from EF-2 Tornado
A school bus carrying more than a dozen children was caught in the path of a tornado in New Richmond, Wisconsin, on Thursday. The students, along with the bus driver, managed to evacuate the bus and take shelter in a nearby shed just as the tornado touched down. "We were on the bus and then we saw the tornado," said one of the students. "The driver was amazing. He got us all to safety." The National Weather Service confirmed the tornado as an EF-2, causing significant damage to the surrounding area. Thanks to the quick thinking of the driver, all students were unharmed. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of being prepared for severe weather.
