Truck Explosion Rocks Chicago Suburb: Home Security Camera Captures the Blast
A propane tank explosion rocked a quiet Chicago suburb yesterday afternoon. Home security footage captured the dramatic moment a truck erupted in flames, sending debris flying into nearby yards and shattering windows on at least four homes. Rahman "Rock" Foreman, whose security camera recorded the incident, described the scene: "[The truck] exploded in front of my house, destroying my neighbor’s front wall, cracking my truck windshield, pushing my windows out of alignment, and scattering truck parts up into my trees and yard," he said. "It broke windows a block over." Authorities responded quickly, and thankfully, the driver suffered only minor injuries. The incident highlights the potential dangers of improperly handled propane tanks. The investigation into the exact cause of the leak is ongoing.
