Bilbao Welcomes New Grill Restaurant 'Tolon Tolon' Bilbao's culinary scene has a new addition with the recent opening of "Tolon Tolon," a two-story restaurant near the Old Town specializing in grilled dishes. The establishment, which officially opened its doors just ten days ago, promises a gourmet experience with a focus on high-quality meats and seafood cooked over coals. Among the standout offerings, a unique steak tartare served atop grilled bone marrow has garnered attention, priced at 24.50€. For meat enthusiasts, the restaurant features a premium beef chop, available at 72€ per kilogram, which is presented to diners before being cooked to their preference. Sides such as peppers and salad are offered to complement the main courses. The menu also includes a selection of homemade croquettes, with varieties like txuleta (beef chop) and txangurro (spider crab), priced at 15.50€ for eight pieces. Seafood lovers can indulge in the blue lobster, offered at 85€ per kilogram, noted for its rich, natural flavor that requires minimal seasoning. For dessert, "Tolon Tolon" offers classic Spanish and Italian-inspired options. The tiramisu, served in a glass (7.80€), and the torrija (Spanish-style French toast), priced at 7.50€ and served with ice cream, provide a sweet conclusion to the meal.
