Ghana Resort Rebounds After Fire Destroys 18 Rooms
A fire broke out at the Maaha Beach Resort in Ghana on Wednesday night, May 28, 2025, causing significant damage to 18 rooms. However, Jean Jacques Mass, the resort's Director of Operations, stated in an interview with Channel One TV, "Maahab Beach Resort is still running 24 hours as usual." He explained that security guards quickly alerted him to the fire, which started near the resort's gate. Fire services responded swiftly, but the wind unfortunately spread the fire to an adjacent building. Despite the damage, the resort remains open, and Mr. Mass assured the public that the resort is taking steps to prevent future incidents. "We lost 18 rooms, but everything is under control," he added. The resort is committed to rebuilding the affected areas and continuing to provide its services.
