New York, NY – A recent online video by local home decor enthusiast Chelsea Zeferina showcases an innovative and affordable do-it-yourself project that has dramatically transformed her New York City apartment. Zeferina, known for her colorful home decor and easy DIYs, demonstrated how to create a "squiggly door frame" using just a quart of paint. "This is one of the easiest DIYs that I've ever done," Zeferina stated in her video. "It only cost $15 and you could do it in one weekend." The project involved painting a door frame with Behr's Bergamot Orange paint and then freehanding a unique scalloped edge around the frame on the surrounding wall. Zeferina explained that she painted the door frame on Saturday and the outside scalloped edge on Sunday morning, completing the entire transformation by Sunday afternoon. "The difference in my apartment is like night and day," she remarked, showing the vibrant orange frame against the white walls. "The apartment looks amazing and made a huge difference and just completely changed the space." The distinctive design, which Zeferina noted gives "Nickelodeon vibes," has added a playful and personalized touch to her living area, proving that significant home makeovers don't require extensive time or budget.
