TikTok Creator Reveals Stage 4 Lymphoma Diagnosis, Shares Harrowing Symptoms
A young man, known online as ChemoPump, recently shared his personal journey of discovering he had stage 4 Diffuse B-cell Large Cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. In a candid video uploaded on March 11, 2024, ChemoPump recounted the alarming symptoms that led to his diagnosis, which he received just three weeks prior to making the video. "I just found out like three weeks ago," he stated, explaining that he had been experiencing a range of severe symptoms. These included a persistent runny nose, extreme fatigue, night sweats, chronic back pain, shaky knees, and a complete lack of energy. A particularly distressing symptom was frequent vomiting, which occurred randomly, even at work, and once dramatically in the middle of a gym floor. "I was lifting weights and I just threw up in the middle of the gym floor... I didn't even care at this point, I felt so like, I felt like shit," he shared, describing the intensity of his illness. He also revealed that he was training for the Marines, undergoing physical training (PT) when he first noticed these issues, initially attributing the vomiting to strenuous workouts. "A couple times I threw up like middle of the workout and always thought was due to the workout," he explained. ChemoPump, who is currently observing Ramadan and fasting, appeared visibly tired in the video as he invited viewers to ask him questions about his experience.
