A flight attendant with five years of experience has revealed what she considers the most unsanitary areas aboard commercial airplanes, urging passengers to be more vigilant about hygiene during flights. In a recent online video, the flight attendant, who goes by 'Cher', detailed several surprising spots that she claims are rarely cleaned. According to Cher, window shades are among the filthiest surfaces, as she has 'never seen them get wiped off' in her entire career. She also highlighted airplane bathroom sinks, stating she has 'seen people vomit inside of the bathroom sinks numerous times'. Furthermore, she advised against using the sink water for washing hands or any other purpose, noting it contains 'too much bacteria'. The flight attendant also pointed out the uncleanliness of toilet seats, which she claims are cleaned 'only once' in her experience, and the carpets, which she has seen contaminated with 'sewage leaking' and 'vomit'. Even seat belts, she added, are 'filthy', having witnessed 'blowout diapers and vomit on it numerous times'. Cher concluded by stating that these unsanitary conditions are why she avoids doing any skincare routines on planes, emphasizing the importance of personal cleanliness while traveling.
