Breakthrough in Disappearance Case: Arrest Made, Body Found

A 21-year-old man, Francisco Albornoz, disappeared on May 23rd, sparking a frantic search by his family and friends. Sub-Prefect Rodrigo Acuña of the PDI confirmed the details, stating, "A person came to the prosecutor's office to provide information about the pharmacist, Francisco Albornoz." The suspect is currently being held while authorities investigate their involvement in the young man's death. The location of the body was discovered in the San Fernando sector, on the banks of the Tinguiririca River, following a search by the PDI's Metropolitan Person Location Brigade.
