Generations Unite: Moldova's Cross-Border Dance Festival Celebrates Tradition

Chisinau, Moldova – May 27, 2025 - The first "This is how we dance" festival, a cross-border celebration of folk dance and tradition, concluded successfully. Twenty-nine dance groups from Moldova and Romania participated, bringing together generations and showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region. One young participant from Pascani, Criuleni region, shared, "I love to dance, and I invite you to more of our festivals." The event was not just a display of dance but also a sharing of local traditions, with participants bringing and sharing local bread. Oksana Mardary, a performer, stated, "I was delighted by these wonderful places, these children, this heart-to-heart dance. It was a real joy for all participants in this festival." The festival demonstrated the power of cultural traditions to unite and enrich communities.
