Moldova Election Poll: PAS Leads, Five Parties Projected to Enter Parliament Chisinau, Moldova – A new poll conducted by iData offers insights into the potential outcome of upcoming parliamentary elections in Moldova. The survey, conducted between May 17th and 24th, indicates that five political parties are likely to clear the electoral threshold. The "Action and Solidarity" (PAS) party is projected to receive a substantial lead, with over 39% of the vote. This is followed by the Socialist Party (PSRM) and the "Victory" political bloc, both polling around 16%. The "Alternative" bloc and "Our Party" are also expected to secure parliamentary seats. According to Mihai Bologan, general director of iData, "PAS would obtain 39.2%, followed by PSRM with 16.5%, the Victory bloc with 16%, the Alternative bloc with 9.3%, and Our Party with 5.4%. These formations would surpass the electoral threshold of 5% for parties and 7% for blocs." The poll also examined public trust in political figures. President Maia Sandu maintained her position as the most trusted politician, followed by Ilan Shor and Igor Dodon. This data provides valuable insight into the political landscape of Moldova as the nation approaches the elections. The survey included 1006 respondents across 293 locations, using a combined CATI (80%) and CAPI (20%) methodology. The margin of error is +/- 3%.
