Chisinau Sidewalk Renovation Project Progresses: Mayor Ceban Highlights Improvements Chisinau, Moldova – A significant urban renewal project is underway on Sarmizegetusa Street in Chisinau. The renovation, focusing on the stretch between Cuza Vodă Boulevard and Burebista Street, is progressing as scheduled. The project includes the complete overhaul of sidewalks, the creation of new parking spaces, and the modernization of street lighting. According to Mayor Ion Ceban, interviewed on-site, "This is part of our larger plan to improve the city's infrastructure, ensuring that everyone, young and old, feels more comfortable." The video shows workers replacing old curbs and installing new paving stones, creating accessible walkways. The completed section of the street from Cuza Vodă shows newly landscaped areas and modern street furniture. The project also includes the rehabilitation of the road surface and the creation of approximately 70 parking spaces.
