Moldova Showcases Local Products at National Exhibition Chisinau, Moldova – The first national exhibition, "Produs Autohton," opened its doors at the Moldexpo exhibition center on August 22nd. This event, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, aims to support local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and boost the country's export potential. The exhibition features a wide array of Moldovan products, from agricultural goods and textiles to handcrafted items and natural cosmetics. "Produs Autohton is dedicated exclusively to local producers and aims to highlight the diversity and authenticity of each product made with love in the Republic of Moldova," stated Zinaida Popa, interim director general of CIE, Moldexpo. The exhibition also includes an artistic program with performances by Moldovan folk ensembles. The event is expected to attract both domestic and international attention, with the Chamber of Commerce also promoting Moldovan companies at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, from August 26th to September 3rd. This participation in the international event underscores Moldova's commitment to showcasing its national values on a global stage.
