Belgrade's renowned "Antibo" party recently celebrated the commencement of its 10th season at the iconic Drugstore club, drawing a diverse crowd eager for entertainment and good times. The event, documented by City Magazine, showcased a unique blend of turbo folk and electronic music, a signature mix that has defined Antibo's decade-long success.A representative from City Magazine humorously recounted the evening, noting the eclectic mix of attendees, from "hipsters" to "šabani," all united in their enjoyment of the music and atmosphere. "I felt like a 'pandur u civilu' (plainclothes police officer) among the youthful energy," the reporter quipped, highlighting the broad appeal of the event. The party featured a main stage pulsating with remixes of popular hits, alongside smaller stages dedicated to pure turbo folk and reggaeton. Notably, one of the smaller stages displayed a Palestinian flag, indicating a space that embraces varied cultural expressions within its vibrant party scene. The organizers emphasized that Antibo is a celebration where individuals are encouraged to embrace all aspects of themselves, from the "best to the most primitive," without judgment or false moralizing. This ethos has cemented Antibo's reputation as one of Belgrade's most frequented and talked-about parties, a place where people consistently gather for genuine fun. The event continues to be a significant fixture in Belgrade's nightlife, promising more seasons of its distinctive musical and social experience.
