Speaking to journalists, Trump reiterated his firm stance that Iran would not be permitted to develop nuclear weapons or engage in uranium enrichment. When questioned about the possibility of regime change in Iran, Trump stated, "No, if there was, there was, but no, I don't want it. I'd like to see everything calm down as quickly as possible." He further elaborated, "Regime change takes chaos, and ideally we don't want to see so much chaos." Trump emphasized his preference for stability in the region. In a notable disclosure, the former President mentioned receiving a call from Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding Iran. "As you know, Vladimir called me up. He said, 'Can I help you with Iran?'" Trump recounted, adding his response, "I said, 'No, I don't need help with Iran. I need help with you.'"
