
American Airlines Flight Returns to Las Vegas After Engine Issue
LAS VEGAS, NV – An American Airlines flight bound for Charlotte was forced to return to Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas on Wednesday morning after reporting an engine issue. American Airlines Flight 1665, an Airbus A321, departed Las Vegas at approximately 8:20 a.m. local time when pilots reported an engine problem. Visuals from the scene showed smoke billowing from one of the aircraft's engines as it circled back towards the airport. The plane, carrying 153 passengers, landed safely back at Harry Reid International Airport. Airport officials confirmed that no injuries were reported among the passengers or crew. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has launched an investigation into the incident to determine the cause of the engine malfunction.
