Houston, TX – A routine food review at a local Houston restaurant took a dramatic turn on August 16 when an SUV crashed through the establishment's windows, injuring two social media influencers. Nina Santiago and Patrick Blackwood, known for their culinary content, were in the midst of filming when the vehicle suddenly breached the dining area, sending glass and debris flying. The terrifying moment was captured on video, showing the pair reacting with shock as the incident unfolded. Both Santiago and Blackwood were subsequently treated for minor injuries. Speaking from the hospital, Santiago stated, "I have glass all over my body." Blackwood added, "I'm glad I'm alive." According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the driver of the SUV informed police that she believed her car was in park before she released her foot from the brake, leading to the unexpected collision. Fortunately, no other severe injuries were reported. The restaurant, CuVee's Culinary Creations, expressed gratitude that no one was more seriously hurt. The incident serves as a stark reminder of how quickly unforeseen events can disrupt daily life.
