Lima, Peru – Paul Michael, a rising figure in the entertainment scene, recently made his much-anticipated debut with the renowned Orquesta Candela, performing the lively track "El Cervecero." The event, which drew significant attention, also saw the presence of Pamela Lopez, who was notably in the audience, capturing the performance on her phone and visibly enjoying the moment. Following his performance, Paul Michael, accompanied by Lopez, spoke to "Latina" media about his experience. "I was nervous," Michael admitted, detailing his relatively short preparation time. "I had only four days to rehearse for this cumbia debut." He expressed gratitude for the audience's reception, stating, "I thought I was going to mess up, but they responded well." Pamela Lopez also shared her connection to the cumbia genre. "I am a northerner, I grew up listening to cumbia," she explained. "It wasn't one of my favorite genres, but after listening to it so much and working with Orquesta Candela, I definitely feel and sing along to them." She added, "He was a bit nervous, but he'll keep practicing and gain confidence." The duo also touched upon a lighthearted moment from a previous performance where Michael improvised lyrics, playfully changing a line to "my Lopez." Michael clarified that singing "El Cervecero" was the result of losing a bet, but he enjoyed the experience. "It was a challenge, but I liked it," he said.
