Sarajevo witnessed a profound display of grief today as a large crowd gathered at Gradsko mezarje Bare for the funeral of Adna Rovčanin-Omerbegović, who tragically passed away at the age of 26, merely two days after her wedding. The young Sarajevan's untimely death has sent shockwaves through the community, prompting an outpouring of sorrow and support for her grieving family. Friends described Adna as a compassionate individual who dedicated her working life as a medical nurse at Dom zdravlja Stari Grad, always eager to help others. Her passion for makeup was a cherished hobby. "Adna always loved helping others," a friend reportedly told Crna-Hronika, "that's why she spent her working life as a medical nurse." Another added, "She was known for her smile, cheerfulness, and dedication." The sheer number of attendees, including family, friends, neighbors, and citizens of Sarajevo, underscored the deep impact Adna had on those around her. The Tevhid (prayer) was recited in the Kobilja Glava mosque, preceding the burial.
