While reporting on the unrest in the city, the crew was briefly detained by Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers. The incident, captured on video, shows the crew being questioned and ultimately warned to leave the area and not return. The video shows a reporter clearly identifying themselves to the officers as press, but the police still directed them to leave the immediate vicinity of the protests.
