During the press conference, Vučević emphasized the critical need for stability within the organization, stating, "Hajduk simply must be a stable club, and in recent years, it hasn't been." He reiterated his belief that the club's interests should always take precedence, followed by the players, and then the fans, asserting, "Without fans, Hajduk also cannot do anything." Vučević also announced the appointment of Ivan Rakitić as the new technical director, expressing strong support for him. "It is a privilege to return to this club," Vučević remarked, highlighting Rakitić's exceptional quality and career.
