Un italiano alucina con los autobuses en España: “Es totalmente diferente”
Davide Militano detalló las principales diferencias entre ambos países, teniendo totalmente claro el sistema de trasporte público que prefiere
Public Transport Disparities: An Italian Perspective on Spanish Efficiency A recent social media video by user Davide Militano has sparked discussion regarding the stark differences in public bus transportation between Spain and Italy. Militano, an Italian national residing in Spain, shared his observations, highlighting what he perceives as a significant gap in service quality and organization. In his video, Militano describes Italy's bus system as characterized by "super old" and "poorly maintained" vehicles, coupled with a general lack of organization. "In Italy, you never know if you're going to arrive, or at what time you'll catch the bus," he stated, emphasizing the uncertainty faced by passengers. Conversely, Militano lauded Spain's public transport, particularly its bus services, as "totally different." He noted that Spanish buses are "functional, clean, and new." The most impressive feature, according to Militano, is the real-time information displays at bus stops. He showcased a digital screen displaying bus numbers (e.g., L24, L25), destinations (El Palmar, El Perelló), and precise waiting times (20m, 37m). "People know perfectly when the bus will pick them up, and when they will arrive, and how long they have to wait," Militano explained. He added, "This seems wonderful to me," praising the system's ability to help people, especially the elderly, organize their journeys. Militano concluded by expressing a hope that Italy could improve its public transport to reach a similar standard.
