The driver's vehicle was observed smoking and pinned against a semi-truck, with its wheels continuously spinning, indicating a severe malfunction or driver incapacitation. Eyewitnesses reported that the good Samaritan repeatedly attempted to communicate with the driver, urging them to open the door or window. "I kept telling him to open the door, roll down his window," the rescuer stated in the video. "I'm going to have to break it." Faced with the driver's unresponsiveness and the escalating danger of the car catching fire, the bystander used a tool to break the passenger-side window, gaining entry to the vehicle.
