A home gardener has successfully transformed a previously grassy, shady side of their property into a charming gravel pathway adorned with vibrant potted plants. The project began with the removal of existing grass and the laying of a clean gravel base. Subsequently, the gardener prepared large containers, ensuring proper drainage with added gravel and cardboard, before filling them with compost and organic matter. Among the new additions are a striking pink hydrangea and a blue hosta, carefully chosen for their shade-loving properties and planted with specialized soil amendments.
