Budapest, Hungary – Influencer and mother of four, Kulcsár Edina, has brought attention to a significant new government policy in Hungary offering lifelong personal income tax exemption for mothers raising three or more children. The initiative, which came into effect on October 1st, aims to provide substantial financial relief and encourage mothers to pursue their professional and personal aspirations. In a recent video, Edina discussed the common perception that balancing motherhood and a career is an insurmountable challenge. "Many messages I received suggested it's impossible to do both simultaneously," she stated. However, she firmly believes that "the right path is the one where we feel good." This new tax exemption, she explained, is a "huge relief" and a "tremendous positive impetus" for mothers. She encouraged women to use the saved funds for further education, training, or even to launch their own businesses. "This is a great period for anyone who has been dreaming of starting something new," Edina added, highlighting the increased value placed on mothers' work. She also shared her personal motivation: "As a mother, work and my businesses are particularly important to me because I want to set an example for my children." She hopes her children will see that "hard and persistent work can achieve our dreams" and grow into businesses built together. The policy is expected to empower many mothers to invest in themselves and their entrepreneurial ventures.
