Man Shot Dead in Lima; Questions Raised About Security

A young man, Julio Enrique, was fatally shot in the early hours of June 10, 2025, in Lima, Peru, near the intersection of Ucayali and Paruro streets. The incident occurred near a BCP bank. According to eyewitness accounts, two individuals on a motorcycle approached Julio and his girlfriend. "They just opened fire," stated a nearby resident, who wished to remain anonymous.
