Telegram Founder Pavel Durov's $17.1 Billion Fortune to Be Divided Among 106 Children, With Access Delayed Until 2055

Pavel Durov, the founder of the popular messaging app Telegram, has announced an unconventional inheritance plan for his vast fortune, estimated at $17.1 billion. Durov stated he intends to distribute his wealth equally among 106 children, a group that reportedly includes six biological children and 100 born via sperm donation across 12 different countries. According to French political magazine Le Point, Durov's decision aims to ensure all his descendants are treated fairly. A key condition of the will, however, is that none of the beneficiaries will be able to access their inheritance until 2055, approximately 30 years from now. Durov's intention behind this prolonged waiting period is to encourage his children to live normal lives and develop independence, rather than relying solely on inherited wealth. The tech billionaire also revealed that his will is already written, citing the significant risks associated with his professional endeavors.
