"La Ciudad de México se alista para el inicio oficial de la temporada de lluvias, que este año traerá chubascos, tormentas eléctricas y caída de granizo," stated a spokesperson for the Secretariat in a recent video report. The video showed scenes of people navigating flooded streets and heavy rain, highlighting the need for preparedness. Civil Protection recommends using umbrellas or waterproof clothing, avoiding flooded areas, and staying away from trees and power lines during the storms.
