Argüello Salazar, a finalist in the 2024 Miss Universe Ecuador pageant, passed away on June 1st, 2025. Beyond her beauty and charm, Argüello Salazar was a dedicated neonotologist, graduating from Universidad de las Américas in 2024. She combined her passion for medicine with her involvement in the Reina de Quito Foundation, working actively to support children and adolescents in vulnerable situations. "She was a truly remarkable woman," said a close friend, speaking on condition of anonymity. "She dedicated her life to helping others, both in the hospital and through her work with the foundation."
