Influencer Dies After Panic Attack During Parasailing in Montenegro

A 19-year-old Instagram influencer, Tijana Radonjic, died in Budva, Montenegro, after experiencing a panic attack while parasailing. The incident occurred on May 5th, 2025, during a promotional activity for a local business. According to the video footage, Ms. Radonjic, seemingly overcome by anxiety at 50 meters above the sea, unfastened her safety harness and fell into the Adriatic Sea. The owner of the parasailing company stated, "We don't know why she unbuckled. I assume it wasn't intentional, but a moment of uncontrollable fear. We are in shock." The Kotor prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the tragedy and is reviewing the company's safety procedures.
