1150 Police Officers Deployed in Santo Domingo to Combat Crime

The plan involves deploying 1,150 officers to patrol 137 high-crime sectors. These officers will utilize data analysis to determine patrol routes and will wear body cameras to record their interactions. "Without a doubt, the necessary corrections have been made. Hopefully, this patrol will be permanent and become a public policy initiative to guarantee citizen security in the National District and some sectors of Greater Santo Domingo," said Julio Clemente, a communicator who commented on the initiative.
