Pedro Sánchez ‘ensaya’ músculo callejero
Pese a sus incongruencias, la causa de Gaza permite al PSOE sacar pecho mucho más que con cualquier otro asunto interno
Madrid, Spain – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez declared on Thursday that the nation's economy is experiencing robust growth, stating it is progressing "like a rocket" rather than a "motorcycle." Speaking before an audience, Sánchez highlighted the European Commission's recent upward revision of Spain's 2024 economic growth forecast to 2.1%. "This is three times more than the Eurozone average," Sánchez emphasized, underscoring the country's strong performance. He further projected that Spain would maintain its position as the fastest-growing economy within the Eurozone throughout 2024 and 2025. The Prime Minister characterized these figures as "spectacular data" that demonstrate Spain is moving "in the right direction." He also took the opportunity to critique the opposition, describing their predictions as "apocalyptic" and "disoriented," and dismissing their "failed hoaxes" regarding electoral results in Catalonia and unfulfilled economic prophecies.
