A serious school bullying incident at River Valley Primary School in Singapore has prompted a father to voice his concerns publicly, alleging that his Primary 3 son suffered a concussion and was left without adequate medical attention by school staff. The incident, which occurred on October 6, 2025, during recess, involved the father's son being reportedly targeted by three other students. According to the father's account, one student, identified as Harizan from "3 Honesty," allegedly snatched the victim's wallet. A subsequent chase led to a physical altercation where the son was reportedly hit, leading to symptoms of concussion and dizziness. The father expressed profound disappointment with the school's immediate response. He stated that despite his son's clear signs of dizziness, school personnel reportedly placed him in a sick bay without contacting emergency services or a paramedic. "You should have got a paramedic, got a medic to come and check on him. He's having dizziness," the father emphasized, highlighting the critical nature of head injuries. He further detailed having to personally call both the police and an ambulance to ensure his son received urgent medical care, resulting in a prolonged stay at the hospital. The father underscored the potential long-term repercussions of untreated concussions, stating, "He could have become a vegetable." This incident has reportedly left the child traumatized and fearful of returning to school. The father has since filed a police report and intends to engage a family lawyer to pursue the matter, calling for greater accountability from River Valley Primary School and the Ministry of Education regarding student safety and incident management.
