White Car Overturns in Antigua Guatemala After Colliding with Parked Vehicle

Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez – An unusual traffic accident occurred recently in Antigua Guatemala, where a white vehicle overturned after striking a parked car. Security camera footage, which has since gone viral on social media, captured the entire incident. The video shows the white car traveling at a moderate speed on First Avenue South towards Seventh Street East. Suddenly, the driver lost control of the steering wheel, causing the vehicle to collide head-on with a parked car and then overturn in the middle of the street. Further analysis of the footage reveals that moments before the main collision, the same white car narrowly avoided hitting a parked taxi, indicating that the driver may have been struggling with vehicle control prior to the accident. Following the incident, agents from the Municipal Traffic Police (PMT) of Antigua Guatemala quickly arrived at the scene to manage the emergency. The driver of the overturned vehicle was subsequently handed over to the National Civil Police (PNC), and the damaged car was removed by a tow truck. The exact causes of the driver's loss of control remain under investigation.
