Brett Goldstein Filmed A Rom-Com With JLo. Why He Says It Was 'A Nightmare'
Sounds like a difficult shoot!
In a recent interview, actor Chris Evans expressed significant dissatisfaction with the experience of filming in New York City for his upcoming romantic comedy, 'Materialists.' Speaking alongside co-star Dakota Johnson, Evans described the process as a "nightmare," citing the overwhelming presence of paparazzi and the proliferation of on-set photos that reveal key details of the film before its release. "As exciting as it seems to work in New York City, don't," Evans stated, explaining his preference for the traditional anticipation of a film's release, where initial exposure was limited to theater trailers. He lamented the current trend of "seeing pieces of the movie before the movie comes out," including daily photos of "every single scene and the wardrobe." Dakota Johnson, when prompted, offered a brief, lighthearted response, referring to Evans's concerns as "champagne problems" before clarifying that the initial question was not directed at her, and she had no further comment. The film 'Materialists,' also starring Pedro Pascal and directed by Canadian Celine Song, is currently in theaters.
