Meanwhile, Mexico City's mayor, Claudia Sheinbaum, has publicly rejected the acquittal of José Luis Abarca, the former mayor of Iguala, Guerrero, in connection with the Ayotzinapa case. In other news, the INE (National Electoral Institute) has attributed delays in election results to errors in the transportation of voting packages in Chiapas and Veracruz.
