Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Renowned Malaysian producer Dato' A. Aida recently faced a severe health crisis, as revealed by her former husband, Ameng. Speaking in an interview, Ameng detailed the harrowing experience that saw A. Aida admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after collapsing during a physiotherapy session. According to Ameng, the situation was dire, with doctors advising the family to recite Yasin prayers. He recounted that A. Aida's heart had reportedly stopped eight times, leading to her being placed in an induced coma for four days. "I received a call from my eldest child, who was crying, telling me about her mother's condition," Ameng stated, conveying the family's distress. He rushed to the hospital, where he witnessed A. Aida in a critical state, connected to numerous medical devices. During this challenging period, Ameng performed Solat Hajat (prayer of need) and recited Yasin, seeking divine intervention. He expressed the initial sense of hopelessness, noting the severity of her condition. However, in a turn of events described as a 'miracle,' A. Aida has reportedly regained consciousness. Ameng confirmed that she is now awake and, crucially, able to recognize her children and other family members, indicating her brain function is intact. While she is currently unable to speak due to a tube, her recovery is seen as a significant positive development. The family hopes for her continued improvement and eventual transfer out of the ICU to a regular ward.
