Sydney van den Bosch Announces Pregnancy After "A Nagy Duett" Elimination
Budapest, Hungary – Following their departure from the seventh episode of "A Nagy Duett," celebrity contestant Sydney van den Bosch announced she is expecting a baby. The news came at the conclusion of the broadcast, where she and her partner, Pető Brúnó, were eliminated from the popular singing competition. In an exclusive interview with Femcafe.hu, van den Bosch shared her mixed emotions regarding the end of her seven-week journey on the show. "We thought we would last three or four weeks, so we are very grateful to have been here for so long," she stated. She expressed happiness for the remaining contestants, believing they truly deserve their place in the competition. "I think those who remained absolutely deserve to be there, and they deserve it even more than us." Reflecting on her collaboration with Brúnó, van den Bosch highlighted their unexpected synergy. "I didn't think our harmony would be so good, and that our pair would be so loved," she remarked, noting the contrast between her "old soul" and Brúnó's youthful energy. The demanding schedule and personal challenges, including her own "mood swings" and "hormonal fluctuations," made the seven weeks challenging. "It wasn't easy, often combining his concerts, my private problems, and my programs." Despite the difficulties, she affirmed the quality of their performances: "Every Sunday we put on a production on stage that held its own." Van den Bosch also spoke about the relief of publicly announcing her pregnancy. "It's much easier now that everyone knows, because it was very difficult to keep it a secret," she admitted, explaining the efforts made to conceal her baby bump with "belt bags" and "balloon-shaped dresses." She added with a laugh, "My baby will regret this, that mommy will sing to him so much."
