Modern Art Orchestra Brings Jazz Fridays to Salföld's Káli Fecskében This Summer
Salföld, Hungary – The Modern Art Orchestra is set to bring a vibrant series of jazz concerts to Káli Fecskében in Salföld this July and August. Titled 'Szakcsi Jazzpéntek' (Szakcsi Jazz Fridays), the event will feature eight performances, each dedicated to a legendary or iconic jazz album. The concert series, which has been a monthly fixture since May 2017 in Budapest, is now relocating to Salföld for these special summer engagements. A representative from the Modern Art Orchestra explained that the selection for the eight-week series comes from a substantial body of work accumulated over the past eight years. The second episode, scheduled for July 4th, will feature Ornette Coleman's groundbreaking album 'Nothing Else'. This particular album holds significant historical importance in jazz, marking Coleman's debut. Audiences can look forward to hearing this and seven other carefully chosen episodes from the orchestra's repertoire over eight consecutive Fridays at the Káli Fecskében venue.
